Head Nap – Gentle Cervical Traction

$99.00

TECHNIQUE

OCBR & CV4

OCBR helps release neck tension, while CV4 applies deep pressure at the back of the head to promote relaxation.

BEST FOR

Neck & Head Tension

Forward head posture, chronic neck stiffness, tension-related headaches, and sinus pressure.

Function

Gentle Pressure

Even pressure distribution along the neck line makes it easier to use—ideal as a starting point.

SESSION

20 to 40 Minutes

Short, self-guided sessions on a firm surface. Designed for daytime use, not overnight.

Alignment first. Comfort follows.

The Nap series uses physical therapy–inspired design to decompress and realign the cervical spine in short, targeted sessions.

Designed by a physical therapist. Built on physical therapy.

Kanuda is shaped around two manual therapy techniques used to support cervical alignment and release deep tension.

CV4 — Compression of the Fourth Ventricle
Calms the nervous system through sustained pressure at the base of the skull.

OCBR — Occipital Cranial Base Release
Supports the cervical curve and relieves tension at the base of the neck.

No App. No Electricity.

Place it, lie down, gravity does the rest.

Firm enough to work. Comfortable enough to stay.

Hard plastic gets uncomfortable and collects dust.

Reaches What Foam Rollers Can't

Surface tools miss the smaller, deeper muscles where tension actually lives.

Calmer Nervous System

Stress and bad posture affect more than your body. Kanuda tells your nervous system it's safe to let go.

I went to a chiropractor for a couple of months to relieve tense muscles in the neck and shoulder are. One of the treatments they used was a neck traction device that had to be pumped up to apply traction pressure.

In my opinion this Kanuda traction device actually works better and is easier to use, right in my own home.

I love this product! If I have a tension headache, I will use this and it helps so much. I use it for about 10-15 minutes most nights before I go to bed. It helps get the kinks out of my neck. I’m so glad I purchased.

It’s incredible! I had some severe back pain dye to several stressors and this is amazing at decompressing the spine. I tip my head back, put a little pressure on my forehead with my hand and let the weight of my sacrum pull all the way down my spine. I also love to do a little core twist on both sides… totally alleviates any physical discomforts and makes my day.

I was looking for neck relief after years of computer work and a neck and shoulder issues. I have tried friends devices intended for the same use and never been impressed.

I was immediately drawn to Kanuda by its design and research. After just a few days use I am very optimistic that my ongoing issues will be helped.

Absolute best for gentle suboccipital release after a long day on the computer.

I absolutely love this device. I’ve tried several suboccipital release tools before, but most were too bulky and never seemed to target the right areas—especially for a smaller neck frame. The Kanuda Head Nap is thoughtfully designed and anatomically shaped to comfortably hit the right spots without causing pressure or pain.

It’s become one of my favorite ways to unwind for 15 minutes after a long day on the computer. I keep telling all my friends about it because the best way I can describe it is: you know that gentle traction feeling when a massage therapist lightly pulls on your skull and neck? It feels exactly like that—except you can do it every day at home.

Best tool for suboccipital tension without overstretching

I'm hypermobile with a hypermobile neck and this thing is a lifesaver for using alongside neck strenthening exercises to relieve suboccipital tension where compensatory muscle activation lives in hypermobile individuals. I had been using a similar device by OPTP, the cervical pivot for neck tension prior to getting formally evaluated for a medical rehab program for when the tension would trigger migraines, but the head nap strikes a better balance of providing just enough gentle traction for a few minutes without overstretching the ligaments. I also own the Piano Air and it has dramatically changed my life by giving me proper flat head alignment during the night so that I can wake up and go about my day without compensatory SCM spasm during my waking hours. Both products have been life changing in my case alongside knowledgeable physical therapy and training. Happy to answer any questions for people in the same boat as well.

excellent for a 30 minute nap

This truly acts like traction or a cranial sacral therapy treatment. It holds your head just perfectly and allows for total realignment and relaxation. Wonderful
