Occipital Cranial Base Release (OCBR)
OCBR is another commonly practiced form of CST that isdesigned to be a hands-on / manual technique to releasetension in muscles surrounding the head and neck.
Place the Nap on the floor, preferably on a yoga or exercise mat.
Lie on your back with a straight posture.
Position the pillow under your neck, aligning the grooves with the bottom of your skull.It might be uncomfortable initially, but the discomfort usually goes away after a few minutes.
Bend your knees and relax, trying to stay in a meditative state.
Stay in this position for 5 to 20 minutes, gradually increasing the time to 30-40 minutes based on your comfort level.

Move from the OCBR position to CV4 therapy immediately if desired.
Adjust the position of the traction pillow so that the CV4 therapy area is directly under the back of your skull. You should feel the two lines on the pillow against the back of your head. Tuck your chin in slightly and once again, bend your knees and relax.
Use the Head Nap for 20-40 minutes, alternating between OCBR and CV4 techniques for maximum effect.
